Escalate through RBI’s complaint process
If you receive an unsatisfactory response, your complaint is rejected, or no reply is received within 30 days, you may approach RBI under the applicable Ombudsman Scheme, subject to its eligibility and time limits.
RBI’s 2026 Scheme took effect on 1 July 2026. Filing a complaint through RBI CMS is free.

Do not share OTPs, PINs or passwords. Verify representatives and payment instructions with customer care before paying.
